Crossword #15: Ashwood-Smith's Fury

Ladies, gentlemen, and others, Sorry, Martin. It's not a good sign when the grid doesn't fit in Crosshare. Have a time, Gizmo

Crossword #14: Best Quip Puzzle Ever

Good evening, I feel like quip or quote puzzles are heavily underutilized these days, so I made this one with a literary quote that I think will speak to the nature of humanity. Have fun, Gizmo Thwomp

Crossword #13: Gizmo's Inferno

Good day, This puzzle is inspired by The Atlantic's "Caleb's Inferno" series. As you progress down the grid, the clues will become more difficult and... Gizmo-esque. Please enjoy, if you dare. Farewell, Gizmo Thwomp

Crossword #12: Yes

Greetings. I had a change of heart. Black squares are actually kind of useful. This theme is a tribute to the amazing Crossworld community who has shown me so much support. To celebrate, I sourced a couple of clues from members of the Discord - this puzzle has clues from Frisco17, personman, and JJ (and thanks to arctan and seaonsonal', who offered to help but ended up being skipped over. Sorry!).  On a separate note, I want to get into more collaboration. Please feel free to DM me on Discord if you ever want to collab - I'll likely say yes, as the title of this blog post implies. See you on the flipside, Gizmo

Crossword #11: The Final Frontier

After all these years, I've finally done it. Just kidding, it took like 30 minutes on a crowded bus ride through the streets of Naples, Italy, during which I had the idea for this puzzle. Black squares are so limiting, so unneccessary. When the Greeks wrote the Arepo word square, did they use black squares? I don't think so. As I looked out at the beautiful night sky, I considered how my ancestors would have wanted crosswords to be done. I cursed Arthur Wynne for inventing the only limit to creativity in the crossworld. This is the natural progression of the crossword meta. I expect constructors to follow my lead first. I have a very long wordlist of 15 letter entries if anyone needs them (over 50,000 and growing as I come up with new word combos every day!) This puzzle functions as a themeless, but think of it as a themed puzzle, with the theme being innovation and discovery. After all, this is a record-setter, demolishing the previous record of 17. Eat my dust, Joe Krozel. S...

Crossword #10: Gizmovie Gizmarathon

What's "up"? It's me, Gizmo Thwomp, here with a fairly simple 58-worder themed puzzle. I decided to take some inspiration from Lollapuzzoola pro  Will Nediger  and stack some theme entries. However, if you're not a fan of themes, please ignore all nine theme-related entries and solve it like a themeless.  Ta-ta, Gizmo

Crossword #9: Persuasive Patterns (feat. Ada Nicolle)

Greetings, Today's puzzle is a fun, asymmetric themeless with some fun fill and clean crossings. Many thanks to the wonderful  Ada Nicolle  for contributing the bottom right 5x5. Thank you for the support, Gizmo
