Crossword #1: Welcome to the Blog

 Hello, my name is Gizmo Thwomp

I am a puzzle constructor who aims for seriousness of purpose and polish in my crosswords. I will be posting puzzles every 3-5 minutes, assuming that I can make one in that time, which I am fairly confident in.

Unlike other competitors with sizably more popular blogs, I do not aim to enter mainstream publications and, in fact, would like this blog to be the new mainstream publication, covered by Crossword Fiend on a regular basis despite having hundreds of puzzles per day. The overall quality of these puzzles should persuade them to hire more blogging staff for this purpose, however.

To illustrate my crosswording ability, I have created a simple themeless puzzle. Notice the elegant symmetry, wide-open grid, and how essentially every entry is a marquee entry (I had no "seed entry"! Just put them all in at once, I say.). 

Please bolster my ego in the comments and patiently await the next puzzle, which should be posted by the time you finish the first.

 April the Seventh be with you! (Little Star Wars reference for my nerds out there.) The illustrious Frisco17 and I assembled 72 of the best crossword constructors I know, to make this the GREATEST CROSSOVER IN CROSSWORD HISTORY. It features tons of incredible cluing work, an immaculate grid by Frisco, and a clue by myself that makes this puzzle difficult to fit on one printed page (Sorry ACPT people for needing a magnifying glass to solve this puzzle. Surprised no one said hi to me during the whole convention, by the way. I was only 10 states or so away.) I digress. Crossword #21: Bigger, Faster, Stronger, Gizmer

 Long time, no see, Today I've come to you with an innovation rivaling my 15-stack. It's not that much more impressive, just 6 more rows and columns. I'm really "fishing for attention" here... hope you catch the "bait"! Apologies for the long wait. The crosswording lobe of my brain was accidentally lobotomized in an unrelated procedure. Crossword #11: The Final Frontier

 After all these years, I've finally done it. Just kidding, it took like 30 minutes on a crowded bus ride through the streets of Naples, Italy, during which I had the idea for this puzzle. Black squares are so limiting, so unneccessary. When the Greeks wrote the Arepo word square, did they use black squares? I don't think so. As I looked out at the beautiful night sky, I considered how my ancestors would have wanted crosswords to be done. I cursed Arthur Wynne for inventing the only limit to creativity in the crossworld. This is the natural progression of the crossword meta. I expect constructors to follow my lead first. I have a very long wordlist of 15 letter entries if anyone needs them (over 50,000 and growing as I come up with new word combos every day!)
